Manchester City are considering a summer move for Chelsea's Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez, while also leading the race to sign Nottingham Forest's Elliot Anderson despite competition from Manchester United and Arsenal. Liverpool, Real Madrid, Manchester United and AC Milan are all tracking Portugal winger Rafael Leao, valued at approximately £60m.

Aston Villa have identified Manchester City's James Trafford as a potential replacement for the 33-year-old Emiliano Martinez, should the Argentina goalkeeper leave. Manchester United are monitoring Tottenham's Micky van de Ven and Brighton's Carlos Baleba, while Jadon Sancho has given approval for a return to Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Elsewhere, Athletic Club are set to appoint former Borussia Dortmund boss Edin Terzic as their new manager. Brentford are interested in Dynamo Kyiv's Matviy Ponomarenko as cover for Igor Thiago, and Nottingham Forest will renew their efforts to sign Celtic's Arne Engels after a £25m bid was rejected in February. Tottenham are in talks with former Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl about joining their leadership structure.
