Unlike typical Premier League weekends, there will be no 14:00 GMT kick-off this Sunday. The 14:00 slot is usually one of the most frequently used times for Sunday matches. This season's lack of an early Sunday game is due to Aston Villa's Champions League involvement.
Villa's meeting with Fulham at Villa Park was originally scheduled for Sunday at 14:00, but has been moved to 20:00 on Saturday because of their Champions League match at Barcelona on Tuesday, 3 November. The fixture reshuffle means this weekend features five games at 15:00 on Saturday, only one on Sunday - Liverpool vs Arsenal at 16:30 - with additional kick-offs at 12:30, 17:30 and 20:00 on Saturday and 20:00 on Monday. The change also benefits broadcasters like Sky Sports, which will show the rearranged Villa vs Fulham match.
