Leeds United has reportedly agreed to a £34.1m transfer fee with Italian club Sassuolo for defender Tarik Muharemovic. The 23-year-old centre-back has yet to finalize personal terms or undergo a medical, despite interest from other Premier League clubs.

Should the Bosnia-Herzegovina international join Leeds, he would become manager Daniel Farke's second summer signing, following Harry Wilson's free transfer from Fulham. Muharemovic would step in as a direct replacement for Pascal Struijk, who moved to Brighton for £20m in June.

Muharemovic featured in three matches for Bosnia-Herzegovina at the World Cup. His career began in Austria with Wolfsberger before a move to Juventus, where he did not play for the first team. He was later sold to Sassuolo in 2025 after a loan spell, with Juventus reportedly set to receive 50% of any transfer fee due to a clause.
