Ipswich Town Women have secured forward Kit Graham on a permanent basis, handing her a two-year contract after a productive loan spell. The 30‑year‑old arrived from Tottenham Hotspur in January, netting two long‑range goals in ten appearances, both coming in a 3‑0 victory over Birmingham City. Graham praised the squad’s fight for WSL 2 survival and eager to build on her loan performances.

The signing coincides with the appointment of Matt Pooley as assistant manager. Pooley, previously the under‑18s lead coach in the men’s academy, brings extensive player‑development experience and a reputation for building high‑performance environments. Women’s technical director Sean Burt said Pooley’s knowledge, energy and attention to detail will be a real asset for the group. His tactical insight should complement Burt’s push for a dynamic attack.

Club captain Maria Boswell and midfielder Leah Mitchell also renewed their contracts last week, reinforcing a core that fought hard to avoid relegation. With Graham’s proven scoring touch and Pooley’s developmental input, Ipswich Town Women aim to consolidate their WSL 2 status and push for a higher league finish. The squad now boasts a stable foundation for the coming campaign.
