Liverpool winger Kieran Morrison has earned his first senior call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for the World Cup play-off semi-final against Italy. The 19-year-old, who joined Liverpool's academy from Manchester United in 2019, has impressed this season with 14 goals for the Under-21s and two senior appearances in cup competitions.

Morrison signed a three-year professional contract last year after a successful scholarship and made his first-team debut in the Carabao Cup against Crystal Palace.
