Despite warnings from club legend Alan Shearer about a "tough season," Jaissle views the club's rebuild as an opportunity to create a "young, hungry side." He emphasized focusing on "controllables" and fostering progress.

Newcastle has adopted a new recruitment strategy, targeting younger players from the Continent, with their recent signings averaging 24 years of age. The club has invested approximately £146m in these new additions. Jaissle, a 38-year-old manager, is embracing the challenge of managing in the Premier League for the first time after successful stints in Saudi Arabia and Austria.
