Bournemouth head coach Andoni Iraola confirmed a decision on his future is imminent, with his contract expiring at the end of the current campaign. The 43-year-old has delivered consecutive club-record Premier League points totals—48 in his first season and 56 in his second—despite significant player turnover.

Those results were achieved after the club sold players worth over £250m in recent windows, including key defenders Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, and Illia Zabarnyi. Investment continued, however, with the January signing of striker Rayan for an initial £24.7m, their joint-second biggest fee.

Iraola, linked with Crystal Palace, Tottenham, and Manchester United, stressed his excellent relationship with technical director Simon Francis and president Tiago Pinto.
