Glasner confirms Crystal Palace exit

Oliver Glasner will leave Crystal Palace when his contract expires in June. The Austrian, 51, departs as a club legend after leading Palace to their first major trophy by winning the FA Cup last season. He also managed them in this season's Conference League.

Glasner informed chairman Steve Parish in October he would not sign a new deal, keeping the decision private until now. He stressed his exit is unrelated to transfer moves, including captain Marc Guehi's impending transfer to Manchester City. The manager seeks a new challenge but promises to finish the season strongly.

Palace's recent form is poor, with a nine-match winless run and a shock FA Cup exit to non-league Macclesfield. Despite this, Glasner is highly regarded and has been linked with the Manchester United job. He believes the club is in good hands and aims to end his tenure on a high note.
