Coventry City have secured 22‑year‑old French winger Loum Tchaouna from relegated Burnley for an £20m fee, signing a five‑year deal that will keep him at the club until 2029.

Tchaouna arrived at Burnley from Lazio last summer and finished the campaign famb with three goals in 32 league appearances. Prior to that he progressed through the youth ranks at Rennes, joined Salernitana in Italy, and then moved to Italy’s Serie A side Lazio.

The French international said he is ready to bring “energy, determination and leadership” to Coventry. His experience in Ligue展开, Serie A and now the Premier League will add a new dimension to the club’s attack as they prepare to face Premier League champions Arsenal on 21 August.

For Coventry, the signing signals a push to climb out of relegation territory. The added pace and continental experience could improve the team's chances in the top flight, offering fans a brighter outlook after a season of uncertainty.
