Celtic announced the suspension of the Green Brigade supporters group will end after Saturday's home clash with St Mirren. The ban, originally six games for roughly 200 fans involved in violent conduct at a Falkirk match, was extended in December over further safety incidents. Club officials say the lift follows compliance with conditions set by the city safety panel.

Glasgow City Council’s Safety Advisory Group approved the reversal on the condition that all season‑ticket policies are respected, members cooperate with security operations, and a match‑by‑match report be supplied while the panel deems it necessary. Celtic communicated these terms to the Brigade, which accepted them without reservation. Interim chairman Brian Wilson praised the decision, noting a united Celtic Park can back the team during a decisive stretch.

Celtic now faces three home fixtures – Falkirk on 25 April, Rangers on 10 May and Hearts on 16 May – with the fan base fully reinstated. The restoration removes a lingering distraction as the club pushes for a strong finish, ensuring supporters can once again influence the atmosphere at Celtic Park.
