Brentford has signed free agent striker Callum Wilson on a one-year deal following his exit from West Ham. The 34-year-old England international brings a wealth of Premier League experience to the Bees.

Wilson joins Brentford after scoring seven goals in 32 appearances for West Ham last season. His arrival adds competition for current striker Igor Thiago, who manager Keith Andrews insists is not for sale despite reported bids of £80m or £90m.

Andrews praised Wilson's goal-scoring ability and experience, stating he will be a positive influence on younger forwards. Wilson previously played for Newcastle United and Bournemouth and has earned nine England caps, scoring twice and appearing in the 2022 World Cup.
