Recent reports suggested McGregor had changed his agency to one representing former Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers, who now manages Al Qadsiah in the Saudi Pro League, fueling exit rumors. However, McGregor highlighted the motivation of O'Neill and his staff's permanent return. "All amazing guys who gave absolutely everything for the club and the cause last season," McGregor stated, noting their willingness to face challenges.

McGregor's motivation remains high, aiming to add to his 26 major trophies. He stressed that Celtic players must not grow tired of winning and must work harder to meet increased expectations. "As a Celtic player you can never ever be bored of winning and trying to be the best that you can be," he added.
