Bournemouth has signed right-back Juanlu Sanchez from Sevilla for up to £11.1m. The 22-year-old brings over 100 senior appearances, including experience in the Champions League, Europa League, and La Liga. Sanchez was also an Olympic gold medallist with Spain in 2024, scoring the semi-final winner.

"I am very happy... I can say that I am a player of Bournemouth," Sanchez stated. The deal includes an initial £9.4m fee with an additional £1.7m in add-ons. Bournemouth's president of football operations, Tiago Pinto, highlighted Sanchez's experience and potential, noting his ability to compete at the top level.

Sanchez is Bournemouth's third summer signing, following Antonio Silva and Alvaro Rodriguez. The club is also reportedly seeking a new goalkeeper and looking to sell Enes Unal. Key players Eli Junior Kroupi, Rayan, and Alex Scott are not available for transfer.
