England forward Aggie Beever-Jones endured her "hardest" season in 2025-26 as successive ankle injuries derailed her campaign while Chelsea's title defence collapsed. Despite interest from rival WSL clubs, the 23-year-old signed a new four-year deal and is determined to play a pivotal role in the Blues' revival.

Beever-Jones used the summer to recover physically and mentally, admitting the injury layoff left her feeling "empty" and isolated. She returned to form at the World Sevens in May, scoring six goals including the winner in the final against Manchester United, signalling her readiness for the new season.

With Chelsea adding Katie McCabe, Melvine Malard and Manaka Matsukubo, Beever-Jones insists the squad remains world-class despite Manchester City and Arsenal strengthening. She targets a consistent starting spot to catch Sarina Wiegman's eye ahead of next year's World Cup, having scored seven goals in 16 England appearances.
