Xiaomi has begun recruiting beta testers for its upcoming HyperOS 4 release in Global and EEA markets. Interested users should note that beta software may contain bugs and is not recommended for daily use. To participate, you need a **Xiaomi 17 Ultra**, **Leica Leitzphone by Xiaomi**, or **Xiaomi 17**. Visit the Xiaomi Community app, tap Me, then Beta testing, and select Recruiting test. A questionnaire must be completed, and Xiaomi Account verification may be required for certain beta versions. Accepted testers receive the HyperOS 4 beta over-the-air. Reverting to HyperOS 3 stable requires manual firmware flashing. On **September 17**, recruitment expands to include the Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 15, and Xiaomi 15 Ultra. Full details are available via the source link.

Beta testing carries risks, including potential instability on primary devices. Xiaomi advises caution before enrolling.

The program targets early adopters willing to test new features and report feedback.

Expanded device support begins mid-September, broadening access to more users.
