### Leclerc Apologizes to Hamilton Over Italian GP Incident

Charles Leclerc admitted he went "too far" during a battle with Lewis Hamilton at the opening chicane of the Italian Grand Prix. The Monegasque driver acknowledged that he pushed Lewis Hamilton onto the gravel at Turn 2. Following a review with team principal Fred Vasseur, Leclerc apologized to Hamilton, emphasizing that the incident did not damage their relationship.

He stated he accepted full responsibility for the mistake, noting that while such clashes are common when teammates start close together, it is unacceptable to see a teammate in the gravel, especially at Monza. Leclerc and Hamilton have since buried the hatchet and remain on good terms. The incident sparked discussion regarding Ferrari's race execution, though Leclerc insisted the proportions of the event were larger due to the Scuderia's involvement.

He confirmed that he and Hamilton have clarified their views and fully agree on how to avoid future conflicts without race-day emotions influencing their on-track decisions.
