Pierre Gasly predicts a red flag for the new Madrid street circuit, citing risk and difficulty as key factors. While most drivers avoid negativity, even Lance Stroll notes it will be 'very busy.' A Formula 3 test resulted in 19 red flags and three crashed cars, with incidents spread across the track, particularly in the challenging second sector featuring chicanes and the banked 'La Monumental.' Franco Colapinto believes the track will be 'extremely difficult,' requiring hours in simulators to complete a lap, making real-world precision crucial. Sergio Perez compares it to Jeddah, calling it 'a bit scary' with 'no room for error,' depending on grip levels.

Gasly finds it enjoyable in simulators but anticipates challenges with track evolution and 'snaky, very twisty' corners. The circuit combines elements from all 24 races on the calendar, presenting a highly technical second sector with demanding gradients, steep kerbs, and blind corners that can cost valuable lap time if approached conservatively.
