COTA Turn 1 Clubhouse & Second Track Plans

COTA has opened a mammoth multi-storey clubhouse at Turn 1, connected to the paddock by a cable car. From January, it becomes 'The Circuit', a private members-only club with a one-time initiation fee and annual dues, limited to 300 members. Over 600 inquiries have been received, with many deposits already placed.

The move aligns with F1’s push to enhance hospitality. To offset the loss of public track access, COTA plans a second, shorter circuit on adjacent land. Designed to FIA Grade 3 standards, it will cater to cars and motorcycles, offering a lower-cost option for grassroots motorsport.

The new track will feature a banked corner and an iconic chicane, providing a different personality from the main GP circuit. COTA aims to continue supporting the local motorsport community.
