Former Red Bull team principal Christian Horner will make his first Formula 1 appearance at this weekend's British Grand Prix, marking his comeback to the paddock since departing the squad last July. The 52-year-old arrives at Silverstone as a guest while simultaneously announcing his autobiography Drive, set for release on October 22 through Transworld Publishing.

Horner's exit from Red Bull came ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix amid performance struggles and internal conflicts that culminated in his removal from the role he held for over two decades. During his year away from motorsport, he has held discussions with multiple current and prospective F1 teams about potential positions, though he has yet to secure a role that meets his standards for competitive success.

His memoir promises unprecedented insight into his tenure at the sport's highest level, covering the eight drivers' championships secured with Sebastian Vettel and Max Verstappen along with six constructors' titles. Horner describes the book as exposing the intense pressures and psychological demands of leading a top team, while revealing private challenges and rivalries that shaped his career.

At February's European Motor Show in Dublin, Horner confirmed his desire to return to F1, stating he has 'unfinished business' in the sport. He emphasized he would only return for opportunities where he could win, working with great people in an environment driven by shared ambition rather than accepting just any position.
