### Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro: NPU con 50% más memoria compartida

Qualcomm está adelantando mejoras en la NPU Hexagon de su próximo Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro antes de la Cumbre Snapdragon del 22 de septiembre. El nuevo NPU está diseñado para IA agente, con un Element Accelerator enfocado en transformadores y una memoria compartida **50%** más grande que mantiene los datos de modelo frecuentemente accedidos cerca de la NPU. Este diseño reduce los cuellos de botella de memoria, permitiendo que los agentes se mantengan receptivos mientras manejan contextos más largos, más herramientas y tareas concurrentes.

El Element Accelerator está diseñado específicamente para cargas de trabajo de transformadores que impulsan la IA generativa y agente moderna.
