Usborne launches multilingual book storefront worldwide

Usborne expands its multilingual storefront, letting shoppers browse titles in English, French, German, Spanish, Catalan, Italian, Dutch, Korean and Brazilian Portuguese. In the UK and select European markets, the publisher sells directly or through independent partners, while U.S. customers are routed to the distributor site Usborne Books & More. It also includes clear age tags.

Customers outside those regions receive links to local online retailers that handle fulfillment and delivery. Usborne advises shoppers to verify each retailer’s shipping zones before checkout. In China, the catalog includes both English editions and Chinese versions in simplified characters, available through a mix of e‑commerce platforms or local bookstores and brick‑and‑mortar stores, widening access to its educational titles.

By mapping dozens of languages to regional sales channels, Usborne reduces friction for global learners and supports schools that require localized materials. The approach also sidesteps the need for a single worldwide ecommerce hub, leveraging existing retailer infrastructure. As a result, parents and teachers can obtain the same titles without navigating complex import processes for free.
