Trump Media & Technology Group, which owns Truth Social, is launching a paid service called Truth API on 1 August to give Wall Street firms high-speed access to its most influential posts. The service will deliver updates from "the highest-ranking" accounts in milliseconds, running 24/7.

Donald Trump currently has the most followers on the platform, and his posts often trigger sudden market swings, particularly on trade and tariffs. For traders, even seconds of delay can be costly. Until now, firms monitored the app manually; the new feed sends posts directly to paying clients.

Interim CEO Kevin Mc Gurn said the service will create steady profit for the loss-making company. Trump Media also plans to block unauthorized data scraping, forcing firms to buy the official feed. Since the Trump family remains the majority shareholder, the president stands to profit directly from selling expedited access to his own public statements.

Experts call the arrangement unprecedented. Investment analyst Mark Spiegel noted firms without quick access would be disadvantaged, though Trump's posts are just a fraction of market movers. Legal expert Robert Frenchman said tiered information distribution likely doesn't violate securities laws, despite fairness concerns.
