Pulse Path is a browser-based puzzle game centered on strategic link placement to maximize "Pulse DMG" to a target. Players are given six links and two rounds to build the strongest paths possible. The core mechanic involves deciding where to place these links on a pre-defined map, as no upgrades or link enhancements occur. Each link placed in a space drains a small amount of Pulse DMG, meaning a link's value must exceed its cost. Paths can vary in structure, from simple straight lines to complex branching and looping configurations. A crucial rule is the "Max Pulse DMG" for each path; any damage exceeding this limit is discarded.

The game presents a map with the same shape as the paths to be built. Each space displays the Pulse DMG before and after a link is placed, allowing players to track progress. The player's objective is to send as much Pulse DMG as possible to the TARGET. The only decision players make is the placement of their six links, one per space, with the option to leave spaces empty. After completing two rounds, players submit their results, with an optional field for additional comments.
