Three Y Combinator alumni have launched Prism, an AI video creation platform that consolidates the fragmented workflow of modern video production. The YC X25 startup addresses the pain point of juggling multiple tools for image generation, video creation, upscaling, lip-sync, and editing.

Current AI video production typically requires stitching together a dozen different applications, with constant exporting and importing between tools. Prism eliminates this friction by keeping the entire process in one timeline editor where users can generate assets and assemble them without downloading files between tools. The platform supports multiple AI models including Kling, Veo, Sora, and Hailuo, allowing users to experiment with different models for individual clips and swap them on the timeline without rebuilding the entire edit.
