Later, on July 14th, the user experienced rapid credit depletion, spending $193.60 in 96 minutes due to their application constantly re-sending context after an outage.

When the user repeatedly requested an explanation for the credit consumption, OpenAI support, across five written responses between July 16th and July 29th, stated they lacked visibility into such detailed account activity and were unable to provide itemized consumption records or usage logs. This refusal extended to a GDPR data request, which was met with a two-month extension while simultaneously denying access to the records in question.

The user claims to have performed their own analysis, confirming credit consumption but at an unanticipated rate due to the service's issues. Frustrated by the lack of transparency and explanation, the user has filed a complaint with the Irish Data Protection Commission, citing the inability to receive any record of where prepaid credits were spent.
