AI data center startup Nscale has secured $2 billion in funding, pushing its valuation to $14.6 billion. Nvidia led the Series C round alongside Aker ASA and 8090 Industries. The investment comes as investors pour billions into AI infrastructure amid surging demand. Nscale, founded in 2024, is rapidly expanding its European, North American, and Asian footprint with vertically integrated AI infrastructure spanning GPU compute, networking, data services, and orchestration software. Microsoft inked a $14 billion expanded partnership in October, marking one of the largest deals for the startup.

Nscale also partnered with OpenAI to launch a Stargate-branded AI data center in Norway. Sheryl Sandberg, Nick Clegg, and Susan Decker joined Nscale's board, signaling strong executive talent. The company confirmed plans for an initial public offering in October.
