A California man, Jack Propeck, has been arrested and charged with BASE jumping in Yosemite National Park. Propeck allegedly jumped from Glacier Point during a government shutdown. Authorities connected him to the incident using an Instagram video and vehicle-tracking data.

However, Propeck claims he used artificial intelligence to superimpose his face onto the footage, denying his presence at the scene.
