I was poking through the iio devices on my Framework 12 the other day and turns out Framework 12 has a pretty accurate hinge angle sensor! So I made a version of LidAngleSensor (https://github.com/samhenrigold/LidAngleSensor) but for the Framework 12 on Linux, so you can make your hinge sound rusty.

The tool turns your Framework 12 into a creaky wooden door, inspired by the original project. It may or may not work on other laptops; I haven't tested it. The filtering is optimized for the hinge stiffness of the 12. Pitch depends on the hinge position and volume on how fast you adjust. A demo (demodemo.mp4) shows the effect, and the executable is in the releases tab. Download it, run `chmod +x` and launch.

It was built on Fedora; your mileage may vary on other distros—there might be dynamic linking issues. Alternatively Invoke `git clone` and `cargo run`, but you’ll need libiio-devel and alsa-lib-devel (or libasound2-dev and libalsa-dev on Debian/Ubuntu) first.
