M5Stack has launched PaperMono, a compact ESP32-S3-based E-Ink development board for low-power IoT projects. The device features a 3.97-inch 4-level grayscale display with touch input, an integrated frontlight, NFC, LoRa, micro SD storage, RTC, and a 1150mAh battery. This all-in-one design supports display, interaction, and connectivity in a single unit.

PaperMono is ideal for e-readers, digital dashboards, NFC badges, and remote status displays. A Lite version omits NFC and LoRa for simpler projects. Both variants share the same display and ESP32-S3 platform, making PaperMono a versatile choice for makers and developers.
