The Keychron F4 HE 8K is a web-based coding keypad that requires no drivers or downloads. Users simply plug it in, open launcher.keychron.com, and begin configuring. The device supports ready-made presets for codex and claude, or allows full manual remapping, macro recording, and adjustable key travel distance.
Both presets include a dedicated key for voice input, though the F4 itself lacks a built-in microphone—users must rely on their computer's built-in mic or an external one. Additionally, a built-in AI assistant can configure the keypad based on plain-language requests, streamlining setup for developers and coders alike.
