The Haskell Foundation announced major organizational changes as Executive Director José will step down in June 2026 after years of service. The restructuring shifts focus toward technical work that directly benefits the Haskell ecosystem. Rather than traditional fundraising, the foundation now emphasizes member partnership and ownership. This change moves away from donor/sponsor relationships toward collaborative governance where members have direct input on project selection and resource allocation.

Board composition also changed with Andres Löh, Hazel Weakly, and Josh Meredith departing. Dominik Schrempf and Simon Marlow join as new directors. The foundation will operate without an executive director, distributing responsibilities between the Board and a part-time financial role.
