One of the latest change proposals for Fedora 45 is supporting web-based remote installations of Fedora Atomic Desktop images. The change requires approval from the Fedora Engineering and Steering Committee (FESCo), but the plan begins with Fedora 45 to enable the Anaconda Web UI for remote installs of Atomic Desktop variants like Silverblue and Kinoite.

Users deploying Fedora Atomic Desktop could boot with the "inst.webui.remote" kernel parameter and complete installation via a web browser on another machine over HTTPS. Security includes pin-based authentication with the Anaconda Web UI. This feature would benefit all Fedora Atomic Desktop images and initially be treated as a tech preview.
