Misfits Attic has announced Duskers 2.0, funded by Max Mc Guire's Stray Signal project fund. The news was revealed during PC Gamer's PC Gaming Show, alongside the debut of the official teaser trailer.

In celebration of the original Duskers' 10-year anniversary, the award-winning game will be featured in summer promotions. Misfits Attic founder, Tim, shared glimpses of early prototypes, highlighting the studio's journey and the support from the Elbow Grease Games (EGG) community. EGG has provided equity-based funding for multiple prototypes, including "Below the Crown," which received funding from Shochiku Games and achieved a 96% positive rating on Steam.

Max Mc Guire, co-founder of Unknown Worlds and an investor in EGG, was inspired by Tim's presentation and chose Duskers 2.0 as Stray Signal's first funded game. Mc Guire's extensive experience in game development and his technical expertise, including work on the Spark Engine and Unity customizations for Subnautica, make him an ideal partner. He will also contribute to the Duskers 2.0 codebase. The original Duskers, known for its atmospheric survival gameplay and critical acclaim, is described as "A better Alien game than any official Alien game" by Rock Paper Shotgun.
