The Triforce support, long-awaited by arcade enthusiasts, finally allows Dolphin to emulate Sega, Namco, and Nintendo's joint arcade hardware. Crucially, this release also includes full speed support for all Full MMU games, including the notoriously demanding Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike, thanks to a breakthrough in MMU emulation.

Dolphin's MMU Speedhack, enabled by default since 2014, previously bypassed complex page table mappings, but this update finally implements proper handling, drastically improving performance for games relying on custom memory layouts. The fix for Rogue Squadron III's physics bug, a decades-long headache for the emulation community, required years of collaboration between the Mario Strikers Charged team and CPU experts to crack.
