Embarcadero announces Delphi 13 Community Edition, the free edition of the Delphi development environment based on Delphi 13 Florence. It delivers substantial improvements across language, IDE, framework, and mobile platform support for students, hobbyists, freelance developers, and eligible startups. New language features include a ternary operator, the Name Of intrinsic, new not operators, and compiler directives for saving/restoring options.

The IDE offers a 64-bit code editor, search and filtering, focus mode, split views, and an improved debugger. Fire Monkey enhancements bring smoother animations, GPU-accelerated bitmap copying, new TMask and TApplication Events components, and extended spell-checking. VCL improvements add styled title bars, expanded API support, and Web View2 integration.
