The merger brings together 290 million learners and 18,000 enterprise customers under one roof. This consolidation occurs as AI transforms job requirements across industries, creating unprecedented demand for adaptable learning solutions.

The new platform offers 315,000 courses from university, industry, and subject-matter experts. Rather than maintaining separate catalogs, the companies plan to build a unified experience that connects skill discovery, development, and credentialing. This integration will eventually provide AI-powered tools to help both learners and content creators navigate the evolving skills landscape.

Currently, learners maintain access to their existing courses, subscriptions, and credentials without immediate changes. Content creators continue with existing agreements while the technical teams work on platform integration. The combined resources position the merged entity to address the accelerating pace of technological change in workforce development.
