The Montreal Canadiens and Buffalo Sabres prepare to battle in Eastern Conference second-round action Wednesday night. Montreal advanced past Tampa Bay in seven tightly contested one-goal games, including a 2-1 Game 7 victory despite recording only nine shots. Buffalo earned its first playoff series win since 2007 by defeating Boston in six games, with improved defensive play after Alex Lyon replaced Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen in net.

SportsLine analyst Scott Erskine recommends **Cole Caufield** as an anytime goal scorer (+175) after the Canadiens right wing scored four goals in four regular-season meetings against Buffalo.
