NFL & UFL Innovation

The UFL is testing in-game referee interviews during broadcasts, a move the league believes can shift postgame debate toward on-field competition rather than officiating controversies. The initiative, already seen in select spring league games, aims to humanize officials and demystify contentious calls in real time, a concept the NFL is monitoring as it explores ways to improve transparency without compromising game flow.
