MLB Player Personnel & Fantasy Outlook

The Chicago White Sox sustained a significant setback as right-handed pitcher Mike Vasil will undergo season-ending Tommy John surgery following elbow soreness reported during a Saturday spring training appearance. This roster blow comes as fantasy analysts finalize projections, evidenced by ESPN's final 2026 points-league mock draft which detailed round-by-round selections and roster construction for 10 head-to-head teams. Elsewhere, anticipation remains high for the World Baseball Classic championship, with predictions and key matchup analysis provided ahead of Tuesday's final showdown between USA and Venezuela.
